Rand Paul files for office Wednesday

Rand files for office

This Wednesday, December 30, marks the official beginning of an historic journey. Rand Paul will travel to Frankfort, Kentucky to file his papers as a candidate for the United States Senate. Friends in the area will meet him at the State Capitol Building at 2:00 pm ET in the Secretary of State’s office.

This is your invitation to join us.

Immediately following the filing, we will go to Republican Party of Kentucky Headquarters at 105 W. 3rd Street in Frankfort for a press conference.

The support for Rand’s campaign grows stronger every day. With nearly $1.75 million in campaign contributions and a poll from the independent Public Policy Polling organization last week showing Rand earning a nineteen point lead over his nearest GOP primary competitor, a grassroots-powered victory in 2010 looks more likely now than ever before.

Keep an eye on the events section of Rand’s web site and be sure to check out the campaign blog for late-breaking news. And make sure to save the date January 30, 2010. Rand will hold a unique event in Louisville with Congressman Ron Paul. Plan to join us at 4:00 pm ET on Saturday, January 30 at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center, 937 Phillips Lane, Louisville. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children, with a maximum charge of $70 per family.

Thanks for your support and for spreading the word!

Sincerely,

David Adams, campaign manager
Rand Paul for U.S. Senate
